Dust

If you have kids this is a great job for them as the duster can’t do much damage! Use a soft cloth or duster to avoid scratching the surface. Make sure to wait at least 2 weeks before using any water on your walls. This gives the paint ultimate drying time so any rubbing will not affect it.
Spills

Paint technology is also much better these days making spills easy to clean. Even if it’s not wiped at the time of the spill. Use a damp cloth to gently rub and wipe away any stubborn stains. Rub in small circular motions with gentle pressure. Simply use soapy water and a soft cloth. For more stubborn stains a cleaning solution like gumption or specially designed wall soap should work.
Protect Against Water Damage
DIY painting in wet areas needs to be done carefully to prevent peeling and bubbling. The high humidity of bathrooms means specially designed paint needs to be used.
