Legacy is a charity caring for over 90,000 Australians. Their latest community event, “Paint for a Mate” got QPaint to help transform a home for one lady from Mitchelton.
“Paint for a Mate” is an Australian wide house painting initiative created by Berger Paints alongside Legacy that lends a helping hand to families and war widows by giving their home a fresh coat of paint and generally tidy up.
Mrs. Marie Harvey, owner of 22 Woking St, Mitchelton was the recipient of the latest Paint for a Mate. The makeover made local volunteers and a range of painting and trades get together to repaint her home.
QPaint Manager, Tas Moulis, was heavily involved and was overjoyed to be part of a great cause. “It’s always great to help out others and we’ve always tried our best to help in the community,” says Tas.
With the home now repainted, the “Paint for a Mate” campaign now moves onto painting its next home in Australia.
